Meet the Doula

Meet your Doula

Thanks for stopping by to learn a little more about me!  My name  is Taylor, I’m the wife of an Army Veteran, homeschooling Momma to four, and the oldest to four younger sisters! (Hello, estrogen.) We are happily planted in the Florida panhandle, just miles from white sandy beaches.  While I don’t have an abundance of “free time”, in the event I happen to encounter a few extra hours, I LOVE baking, crafting with the kiddos, and soaking in the sun while listening to live music on the beach!

Passion

Since I was a young girl, I have had a passion for birth, babies, and family. At the age of 15, I secured my first job as a certified nurses aide in Labor & Delivery at Mount Carmel Medical Center, now Via Christi Hospital, in Pittsburg, KS. From that point forward, I knew the birth industry was where I wanted to be, I just didn’t know where exactly in the birth industry I wanted to be. After pursuing a couple of different career paths in the medical field and never truly discovering that sense of belonging and contentment that I was seeking after, I decided to become a Doula and the rest is history. I have attended a plethora of births, ranging from unplanned home births, hospital births, cesarean births, to even a delivery in the back of an ambulance.  This is my calling, I am a Doula.

If you would like to learn more about me, don’t hesitate to use the ‘Contact Us’ section of this page to send me a message or schedule your free consultation.
